CGA G-7.1 Breathable Air Grade D

CGA G-7.1 Breathable Air Grade D. Since December 13, 2011 there has been a new edition of CGA G-7.1. Page 12 specifies air characteristics. The page 12 specification describes the requirements for air. It is dated October 13, 2011 and replaces the 5th edition of 2004. It was previously known as ANSI Z86.1, “breathable air”. The widely used document provides data on quality systems, sampling, verification of analytical procedures, containers, typical uses of varying degrees (QVLs) and supplementary specification tables.

The previous edition (1989) is cited in 29 CFR. It should be noted that this specification covers air, including medical grade, air, but not oxygen. If you need a specification for oxygen, you need to use CGA G4.3, “Merchandise specification for oxygen.” CGA G7.1 and all the standards of the Compressed Gas Association can be purchased on the internet at various sites such as CGANETand theDocument Center.

It is worth remembering that the CGA G-7.1 is one of the basic standards of NBR 12543, from 1999 and therefore its importance for us in Brazil.
